Leslie, Sorry for contacting you this way, but your bio sketch on BlogHer indicated you might be able to help. I'm desperately searching for good books and articles on blogging, particularly placeblogging, for a class I'm about to teach. Got any suggestions?
I'm afraid I haven't read any thoughtful books on the topic, but I know that Barbara Ganley over at bgblogging thinks about this issue of place and blogging quite a bit. You might check out her blog and contact her. Meanwhile, if you send me an e-mail at trillwing -at- gmail -dot- com with more details on whether you want articles on teaching with blogging or if you want articles for your students to read, I'll look through my resources.
It's funny how much music I listen to now with religious influences -- some of it even inspired by the New Testament -- but how much I can't stand so-called Christian music.

Woah. It just kept getting better and better. The half-hearted back-up singers? The unused grand piano? "Jesus is like a mountie"? "Zap"?
Well done, Mr. Trillwing.
This song is so damned catchy. Seriously, I should not have listened just before going to bed.

Reminds me of my early childhood. *shudder*
