My teeny tiny little life

Is it sad that I get excited over things like this?

We've been trying to perfect the diet coke mentos thing in the lab for months...haven't managed much more than a 10 foot soda fountain so far. Now feeling totally bloody inadequate!

My life must be tiny too - I bellowed out "Yay!" "Holy shit!" and "Awesome!" several times.

Just one more reason to embrace the future - up to Oct. 30, at least.

What's sad is that I would really like to study this phenomenon. Who has time to undertake such elaborate science-like demonstrations? Why are they doing it? How did they come up with this? Ok, their website probably says, but they aren't the only ones who do crazy shit like that.

Ha! I'm very much laughing about Breena Ronan's comment. Because those are the sorts of experiments that happen in the household of a Very Energetic Chemistry Teacher all the time. My husband and my sister (both science teachers) have been planning endlessly how they're going to re-create this one. I think my sister showed that video to her chemistry class, and it somehow had something to do with what they were learning.
