I'm concerned that Mike saw my original post as "snarky" and full of name-calling. Diid anyone else read it as such? That's not the tone I meant to take.

In no way did I think your post was snarky or name-calling. Not even close.
Absolutely not. You have been balanced and fair (you know, I really appreciate that about you), and were raising some very valid concerns.
In fact, referring to your piece as "snarky" and "name-calling" is doing exactly what he's accusing you of doing. And it feels far too much like he's trying to marginalize you into being "one of those snarky, name-calling blogger types" so that he doesn't have to listen to the concerns you're raising.
I appreciate the dialog. For those who have not read my follow-up comment on the Citizendium blog, I was not implying Leslie engaged in any name-calling. Leslie, I feel you've been very personally respectful of everyone in the Citizendium project.
i think snarky is probably the last word I would have used. Just for feedback.
