Woody (aka The Liability), 1994?-2008

We twa hae run about the braes,
and pou’d the gowans fine;
But we’ve wander’d mony a weary fit,
sin’ auld lang syne.

Woody at rest, Christmas 2003

Late this afternoon, Mr. Trillwing said goodbye to his companion of 12 years. It was time, yet there were wet kisses from Woody until the very end. Woody was 14 years old, and is already missed terribly.

Anecdotes to come.

Oh, sad. :( Goodbye, Liability.

Awww. Mr. Geeky had to do this a few years ago--it was very, very hard. Perhaps a new companion will come along at some point in the future.

I'm so sorry. Hugs to the whole family.

Losing a faithful companion is one of the hardest things to deal with. I hope that the sadness passes soon and that you are all able to focus on the good times.

Woody,
I will always remember you wandering the office of the Grunion on Wednesdays and Fridays, or lying right in everyone's path to the graphics department. Or uou bounding up the stairs to editorial to sit and look out the window or just to sniff out any new smells from the last time you'd to the office. You were beautiful and lovable. You will be missed.
